Home for Christmas

This warm, fun-loving Christmas picture book is one for families to share, love, and laugh over together.

Rollo, a grumpy little troll, runs away from home to get out of his chores. He tries living with a string of woodland families, including owls, a mother bear and her two rambunctious cubs, playful river otters, a hungry lynx, and a friendly family of moose, before discovering that there's no place like home. He makes it back to his family just in time for "the best Christmas ever." Jan Brett's mischievous hero is one kids will recognize in themselves, set against a glorious Scandinavian landscape that turns from a beautiful fall into a magnificent snowy winter. Her signature borders show the troll family missing Rollo, with animals as appealing as those in The Mitten.
