Hen, Brown Picking

Head down and busy pecking, this brown hen shows one of the typical chicken movements captured across Ostheimer's brown chicken family. Pair her with the brown rooster, the nesting hen and a handful of chicks.

Each Ostheimer piece is hand-carved and hand-painted in Germany, which means small variations in grain and color make every figure one of a kind. Non-toxic, plant-based watercolors and sustainably sourced wood make it a natural, heirloom-quality addition to open-ended play.
