Cow, Black & White Standing

The Black & White Cow, Standing is the mother cow of Ostheimer's black-and-white farm herd. Her bold patches are hand painted on smooth maple, and she pairs with the black-and-white calves, the eating cow and the ox for a complete dairy scene.

Like every Ostheimer figure, it is hand-carved and hand-painted in Germany, so each piece is individually shaped and no two are exactly alike. The colors are non-toxic, plant-based watercolors, and the wood comes from sustainable domestic forestry, so it's a toy made to be handled, loved and passed down.
